Neither coach deemed any Blues player worthy of a single vote, with both giving the maximum five votes to Dane Swan, four votes to Scott Pendlebury and three to Travis Cloke.
Pendlebury is now equal fourth in the AFL Coaches' Association champion player award, while Swan has moved into 11th spot after polling four times (34 votes) in his past five games.
North Melbourne also monopolised the coaches' votes in their big win over Richmond, with much-maligned utility Lachie Hansen achieving a perfect 10 – the fourth time he has polled in his past seven games – and the evergreen Brent Harvey and Jack Ziebell next best with six.
Geelong skipper Joel Selwood has vaulted into eighth position in the coaches' award, by receiving maximum votes in his side's thrilling victory over Hawthorn.
Selwood is one of just three players to have earned 10 votes on four occasions this season. The others are Gold Coast captain Gary Ablett and Sydney Swans midfielder Daniel Hannebery.
Sydney Swans co-captains Kieren Jack and Jarrad McVeigh have consolidated their positions on the leaderboard. Jack was deemed best-afield in the Swans' win over Melbourne at the MCG and is now second only to Ablett (who missed his side's clash with the Brisbane Lions through injury), while McVeigh is back inside the top 10.
