Driven to be recognised and respected as the most successful sporting club in Australia, both on and off the field, we are now seeking a Retail Operations Coordinator to join our Merchandise Department team for a period of 6 months.
Reporting to the Retail Operations Manager you will be responsible for:
- Assist in the growth and development of the Essendon Football Club retail sales across all sales channels.
- Drive the retail team to ensure we make a positive impact on all customers we engage with.
- Assist the Retails Operations Manager in managing all retail operations of the merchandise department including staff supervision, in store marketing and inventory management.
- Actively contribute to personal growth and development.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Year 12 and/or Cert III in Retail Management and Marketing Qualifications;
- 3 Years experience in a retail product or service business, preferably in licensed consumer products
- Exceptional customer service focus
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to commit to EFC’s values and behaviours – Integrity, Innovation, Unity, Passion and Accountability
- Retail leadership and people management skills
- Good organisational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks meet deadlines and maintain a high level of attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and exercise judgement
- Flexible and responsive to change in direction and priorities as required
- Demonstrated excellent time management and organisational skills both autonomously and within a team environment
- Availability to work match days on a 5 day working week roster arrangement
