EMBATTLED Essendon conditioning coach Dean Robinson has revealed the toll the club's performance enhancing drugs scandal has taken on his young family.
Robinson was stood down by the Bombers in February pending ASADA's investigation into the club's 2012 supplement program that he oversaw.
He said while he was confident the "truth" would be revealed in the ongoing investigation, he admitted it had been a stressful time for him and wife Tori.
"My wife's been in hospital, she's been in hospital for two-and-a-half weeks. It's taken a toll," Robinson told Channel Seven.
"These things are stressful. We'll keep getting through this. Stick strong.
"At the end of the day, the truth will come out."
Robinson has been at home caring for his four children aged under four, including eight-month-old twins.
He was speaking at the launch of a book written by the lawyer he hired to represent him, David Galbally, QC.
Robinson was asked if he felt hard done by for being stood down by the Bombers pending the investigation, and if there would come a time where he could "clarify matters".
Galbally interjected and said his client could not answer either question for legal reasons as the investigation continued.
