ADELAIDE has handed rookie Patrick Wilson a two-game club-imposed suspension for being caught drink driving.
Wilson will be unavailable for senior selection for the opening two rounds this season after the incident.
The 24-year-old, who made his AFL debut in round 13 last season, will also be made to pay a $2500 fine and attend education and community programs for the off-field drama.
"It is a serious breach of the standards we set for our players, coaches and staff both on and off the field, and importantly the expectations of the wider community," said the Crows' head of football Brett Burton.
"Paddy is obviously regretful of his actions, has taken full responsibility, and the club will provide him with the necessary support and further education."
Wilson joined the club at the end of the 2017 season via the rookie draft after a strong season at SANFL level with Sturt in the midfield.
