The Gold Coast SUNS Communications & Content team are on the look out for a highly organised and innovative Production Coordinator. They will have the ability to coordinate and delegate key projects to the Communications & Content team ensuring strict deadlines are met and expectations of internal stakeholders are managed. They will also assist in the creation of innovative concepts for the Club’s communication channels.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Prioritise, schedule and delegate Communications and Content projects to members of the Communications team and manage the Agile Management System
  • In collaboration with the Digital Content manager, assist with the creation of innovative concepts across the Club’s communication channels.
  • Create scripts for SUNS TV
  • Create scripts and rundowns for Game Day TV
  • Assist with the production of Game Day TV
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A strong personal brand which personifies the Gold Coast SUNS values of bold, fresh, relentless, dependable and community
    2 - 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Degree or Diploma in Communications/Journalism or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across all departments of the Club
  • Previous experience working in a fast paced and diverse Communications/Production role with the ability to manage & coordinate multiple activities/priorities
  • Creative flair with strong written communication skills
  • A strong work ethic. We need you to be relentless as you pursue challenges and achieve deadlines and goals (This is not a 9-5 job)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge and passion for sports, particularly AFL
