MATTHEW Jaensch, Ricky Henderson and Andy Otten are set to join Adelaide’s full training program later in February.
Jaensch ruptured the ACL in his left knee in round seven last season and is now returning to full fitness.
Adelaide high performance manager Brett Burton said Jaensch had received good news from his surgeon.
“(Jaensch will) be back into full training uninhibited in NAB (Challenge week) two,” Burton told the club's website.
“It’s pretty much a four-to-six week build from there and then he’ll need to get final clearance from the surgeon.”
Henderson had an operation on a bulging disc in his back in December while Otten had a clean-up in his right knee.
Otten, 26, didn’t play an AFL game last year, despite making a comeback to footy in the SANFL from July after rupturing the ACL in his right knee. He was named emergency for the Crows’ last four games, including their two finals.
The defender has had a terrible run with injuries. He had an ACL reconstruction in his left knee at the end of 2009. That year, Otten had finished second to Daniel Rich in the NAB AFL Rising Star award.
Henderson, 27, managed a back problem through 2015 and the club had hoped rest in the off-season would fix his issue.
The positive news comes in the wake of Charlie Cameron requiring minor knee surgery, with the small forward set to miss a month of football.
