HAWTHORN star Lance Franklin says he feels no pressure in being Hawthorn’s main man up forward.

Last year’s Coleman Medallist booted four goals, including the sealer in the final quarter of last week’s win over North Melbourne.

Franklin has kicked 46 goals in 2009 while his partner up forward Jarryd Roughead has booted 44.

But Franklin said it was never just up to him to single-handedly win the game.

“Being a forward, our job is to kick goals. Everyone in the forward line is not feeling the pressure. It’s a team game and we’re all working together,” he said.

“It’s our job to mark the ball and put it through. As long as we’re working as a team and the midfielders are winning the ball.”

Franklin spoke exclusively about the win, the challenge of this week’s game against Collingwood and dealing with intense media interest in football-mad Melbourne.
