EXCITING forwards Devon Smith and Will Hoskin-Elliott have been ruled out of Greater Western Sydney's crucial clash with Port Adelaide on Sunday.

Smith (knee) missed most of the NAB Challenge with the same injury but has played all three games of the regular season, while Hoskin-Elliott (quad) was left out of the side for round one but has played the past two matches as a lead-up forward.

The pair join Aidan Corr (ankle) on the sidelines from last week's team that lost to the Sydney Swans by 25 points.

In better news for the Giants, coach Leon Cameron said on Thursday that defender Matt Buntine would return to face Port after he was a late withdrawal from round three with hamstring tightness.
