About three and a half years ago, I was home recovering from the flu when there was a knock on my door.  When I opened the door, imagine my surprise to find young Adam Hunter standing there !!!  Adam was telling neighbours that a party would be taking place at a fellow Eagles home, which was at the back of my home, and he invited me to attend and apologised for any excessive noise that may come from the party.

Well, like I said, I was recovering from the flu and looked like ‘death warmed up’, runny nose, hair all over the place and in my dressing gown, how embarrassing!!! As you can imagine, I felt pretty grim opening the door to the very handsome and young Eagle Hunter.  It was lovely of him to invite me to his party but being old enough to be his mother, I gracefully declined.

I love the Eagles so much and in 2009 became a member waiting In The Wings.  It's really wonderful to be offered tickets to the games and I have taken up that offer on more than one occasion.  Whatever happens this season or in the future, it's the Eagles for me through thick and thin and through the flu season.

You might say, "how can this be a favourite moment?"  Well it was for me because it made me feel so much better for the rest of the day.

We're the Eagles, We're Flying High.
