ADELAIDE is hopeful of regaining stars Matt Crouch and Rory Sloane for Saturday night's clash with Gold Coast at Adelaide Oval.
Crouch has missed the past three games with a hamstring injury, while Sloane sat out last Friday night's win over Sydney at the SCG with a foot complaint.
"'We're hopeful on both those guys," Crows coach Don Pyke said on Tuesday.
"We've got training tomorrow, so we'll see how they pull up from there, but the indications are positive."
Sloane played with a sore foot for a couple weeks before he was given time off for it to recover.
"Last week he wasn't free enough and wasn't past that foot issue to play at the level he's capable of," Pyke said.
"It'll be a question tomorrow of him getting up and going, not only straight line (running), but change of direction as well and make sure that foot's healed.
"If it has, we'll play him. If it hasn't, we'll give him some more time."
Crouch, the Crows' best and fairest last year and also an All-Australian for the first time, injured his hamstring in the round two win against Richmond.
"He trained on through the weekend really well and completed his session on Saturday and did some work with us yesterday. He'll train fully tomorrow, and if he gets through that, he's available."
Midfielder David Mackay (concussion) and small forward Lachlan Murphy (hamstring) have been cleared to play, but Curtly Hampton (groin) will likely be given another week out after he was a late scratching from the Swans' game.
Key defender Kyle Hartigan will miss two to three weeks with a hamstring injury sustained against the Swans.
