One of the most respected and revered men to have ever pulled on the black and white guernsey, Lou Richards has enabled Collingwood supporters to own a piece of history with the former premiership captain signing 100 editions of a limited lithograph.
Considered an extremely rare and prized piece of Magpie memorabilia, Richards agreed to sign 100 editions.
“There isn’t a lot of memorabilia featuring Richards these days and we wanted to put together something special for Collingwood supporters. This is an opportunity to celebrate one of the true legends of the club,” said membership manager Chris Kearon.
“He only would sign 100 of them so we are considering this a limited edition piece.”
Richards enjoyed a distinguished career with Collingwood racking up 250 games including winning the 1953 premiership, captaining the side from 1952-55 and was the club’s leading goal kicker in1944, 48 and 50.
