This position is responsible for maximizing retail sales opportunities through providing excellent customer service at the Carlton Shop operated at Visy Park, Carlton match days and Carlton functions.
The incumbent will demonstrate commitment to the Carlton Football Club’s Values: Integrity, Teamwork, Innovation, Leadership and Excellence.
Reports to:
? Merchandise Manager
Responsibilities:
? Phone, mail and online sales orders
? Ensure store is presented in a professional manner and stocked to capacity
? Maintain high level of customer service across the board
? Assist Merchandise Team Leader in preparing merchandise promotions and other store events
? Assisting with the maintenance of stock control processes including stocktake, stock security and match day count backs
Skills and Experience:
? Previous professional sporting industry experience preferred but not essential
? Demonstrated customer service experience in retail sales
? Very good understanding of Point of Sales systems together with Microsoft Excel and Word
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
? Highly self motivated and pro-active able to work autonomously and in a team environment
