Eagles Priority Pass winners had the experience of a lifetime on Wednesday when they were given exclusive access into the West Coast Eagles headquarters for an afternoon with Eagles legend Andrew Embley.
The winners, some travelling from as far as Bunbury and Cunderdin, were greeted by Embley and former Subiaco premiership star Brad Smith and lead into the warm-up room to be put through their paces for an energetic coaching clinic.
Andrew Embley guided the group through tough handball, marking and kicking drills, with some talented youngsters looking set to become the next Mark LeCras taking some impressive snaps at goal.
After an exhausting clinic, the winners were taken into the players’ lounge to enjoy a healthy afternoon tea, courtesy of Masters and Herdsman Fresh, where they were then able to score photos and autographs to become the envy of their friends at school the next day.
The group were then led on a personalised tour of West Coast’s inner sanctum, getting behind-the-scenes access to exclusive areas including the gym, locker rooms and pool, before living every football fan's ultimate dream and running up the players' race and unto Subiaco Oval.
The afternoon finished with a gathering in the lecture theatre to draw the much-anticipated final prizes, with Abbey Stribley from Kewdale Primary School winning a super clinic for her class hosted by Andrew Embley and Channel 7’s Adrian Barich.
Many thanks to Channel 7, GWN, The West Australian, Masters and Herdsman Fresh for making Eagles Priority Pass competition an unforgettable experience for all our winners!
