Success in modern day football requires competitiveness in all areas, on and off the field. When compared to other teams in the league, St Kilda's total revenue ranks #15 and our membership ranks #9 out of 16 clubs in the AFL. We have the lowest number of staff and rank #13 in football department spending. For these figures to change, we need your help!
To continue our improvement into 2009, the Club must purchase additional training and rehabilitation equipment. These improvements may provide the 1 or 2% boost that keeps our players fit and on the park when we need them most.
For example we need more massage tables, new marking bags, tackling bags, a two-way walkie talky system, measuring wheels and the list goes on. These equipment needs, while essential, add an additional cost to the club which we must balance with the need for personnel.
That is why the StKilda Football Club asks you to consider participating in our raffle.
Your participation not only puts you in the draw to win some exceptional prizes but the money the club generates from you buying tickets will give us additional capacity to improve the facilities for our playing group.
