TWO-TIME All-Australian Chad Wingard has announced his retirement after 218 games at two clubs.
Wingard, 30, has not played a senior game at Hawthorn this season having battled a serious Achilles injury suffered last year.

He posted on Instagram on Monday morning, thanking both clubs and their supporters.
Wingard was a star player at Port Adelaide between 2012 and 2018, winning All-Australian honours in 2013 and 2015. He also won the club's best-and-fairest in 2013.
He played 147 games for the Power before moving to the Hawks at the end of 2018.
His time at Hawthorn was impacted by injury and he managed just 71 senior games there in five seasons.
"There are countless breathtaking moments that Chad has delivered us all over the years that will live long in the memories of the Hawthorn and Port Adelaide faithful," Hawks footy boss Rob McCartney said.
"Along with his amazing talents on the field, Chad drove himself and others around him to higher levels as a much-respected teammate and leader during his time at Hawthorn.
"Chad's influence extended much wider than just his playing feats, he is a significant role model for our First Nations players and staff, with his words and actions being felt across the AFL and wider community.
"Chad will always remain an important part of the Hawthorn fabric, and on behalf of everyone at the club, I would like to wish Chad, his fiancé Lilly and his entire family all the very best for the future."
