The panel assessed the incident as intentional, low impact and body contact.
His poor record meant that even with an early guilty plea he could not escape a one-match ban.
Greater Western Sydney forward Jeremy Cameron accepted a reprimand and an $1800 fine after being cited twice, for striking and misconduct.
Collingwood forward Jarryd Blair accepted a reprimand for striking West Coast's Mitch Brown, while Suns forward Tom Lynch received a $900 fine for umpire contact.

Cameron was cited for striking Richmond's Dylan Grimes in the midriff and also booked for misconduct for putting Grimes in a head-lock during a scuffle.
His initial penalty for the strike was a one-match ban, but the plea of guilty allows him to escape with a reprimand.
The penalty for the misconduct charge was a $2400 fine, but is reduced to $1800 by pleading guilty.
Blair was booked for punching West Coast's Mitch Brown in the midriff, in an incident that was assessed as intentional, low impact and body contact.
