St Kilda Angels Supporters Group, who recently donated 21 Saints membership passes to Bayley House. As a result of their generosity clients are now able to attend St Kilda home matches throughout the year and cheer the Saints onto victory.
Members of The St Kilda Angels Barbara Datson and Joan Lewis called into Bayley House early in May to present the membership packs to Faye Barrow, Director of Client Services. Much to the delight of everyone at Bayley House they were joined by St Kilda forward Andrew McQualter who presented each of the St Kilda fans with a St Kilda scarf and a range of other membership items.
“We are very grateful to The St Kilda Angels for providing these memberships.” said Faye “Our people absolutely love the footy but usually only watch it on TV. Now our St Kilda fans and their families will be able to use the memberships to go to the football together. They will also be used by those participating in our recreation program and living in our residential houses. Going to the football is a great social experience and it is fantastic that the St Kilda Angels have been able to help us provide this opportunity for everyone at Bayley House.”
The St Kilda Angels have been supporting Bayley House for several years. This donation takes their support to another level and ensures that those from Bayley House are able to take part in an activity that most people in the community take for granted. “Bayley House does a wonderful job. The Angels are just so happy to be able to assist them in what seems to us to be such a small way yet to them, makes an enormous difference to quality and enjoyment of life,” says Angels’ President, Barbara Datson.
