After a disappointing game from the Bulldogs last round, scores from some of our favourites were not as good as we have become accustomed to. Dream Team’s highest scoring record holder, Brian Lake’s form was disappointing, his score reflecting this with a measly 38 points. Similarly Shaun Higgins and Barry Hall were kept at bay by Geelong with scores in the fifties; however Daniel Giansiracusa silenced some of his critics, top scoring for the Dogs with 133 points, which also resulted in a value increase. Gia has been a great pickup this season and heading into the pointy end could just be your team’s game breaker.
In terms of the Sons of the West League our impressive leader is still yet to be stopped and I don’t want to be too presumptuous but at this point it looks like the ‘Dream Team Manager’ will take out the competition, with a lead after Round 20 of 537 points over his closest competition ‘Doggie Style’. Not only that, but his overall ranking is 22nd in the entire competition! Now that is impressive.
Congratulations to this week’s lucky winner the ‘Flint Tropics’, who managed to pull out the very impressive score of 2454, beating second placed ‘Aberdogian’ by over 80 points. This week’s winner will look the part, taking home a great prize from our Partners SKINS, the ICE Long Sleeve Top and an Aquila Sock and Polish Set. Congratulations we will be in touch shortly.
And how are the Western Bulldogs staff performing you ask? Well I am pleased to say that two staff currently take out third and fifth positions however, unfortunately that is all that’s worth a mention. Let’s see if there is any improvement left in the final weeks.
