TICKETEK will refund the service and handling fee to all AFL, Adelaide Crows and Sydney Swans members from Tuesday's ticket on-sale for finals this weekend.
The move comes after frustrated fans were greeted with long delays when attempting to book tickets through the agency.
As reported by AFL.com.au, the initial glitch came from a technical problem around ticket sales for Saturday night's SCG semi-final between the Sydney Swans and Adelaide.

Tickets for Swans and Adelaide members went on sale on Tuesday morning at 9am AEST, and fans were greeted by delays, and website time-outs as they tried to book tickets.
That then created a backlog which also caused issues for fans booking tickets for Friday night's MCG semi-final involving Hawthorn and the Western Bulldogs.
AFL Members tickets for the MCG game also went on sale Tuesday morning.

"The AFL was extremely disappointed for our fans today, and made this clear to Ticketek,” AFL chief executive Gillon McLachlan said.
"I personally spoke to Ticketek, the SCG and the MCG to express the frustration of our fans.
"The decision to refund the service and handling fees on every transaction from tickets sold today to AFL, Crows and Sydney members is a good gesture from Ticketek this afternoon."
The refund will be processed in the next 48 hours and will be credited to the account which was used in the transaction.
It's not the first time Ticketek has had issues this season, with major dramas causing delays to ticket sales for early rounds at the MCG.
