 Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our team as a High Performance Coach – Women’s Program. This role is instrumental in supporting organisational excellence, fostering a culture of high performance, and maximising physical performance and preparation.

The primary purpose of this role is to facilitate the development and implementation of a premier high-performance program framework that seeks to optimise the physical performance and preparation of Bachar Houli Foundation (BHF) athletes within the Islamic College of Sport, academy, and elite performance programs. This role will play an important part in creating a culturally safe environment for the female participants of BHF programs.

This role is part time (0.4FTE).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:         

  1. Support the delivery of monitoring, profiling and evaluation of all High Performance participants (specifically female athletes) to ensure that Strength and Conditioning programmes are in place for all and that each player’s physical development requirements are tailored to their specific needs and priorities;
  2. Assist with the development and implement appropriate load monitoring, wellness, screening and performance testing procedures and derive accurate, and timely data to inform athletic development protocols.
  3. Engage with and collate relevant GPS data, and educate athletes on its usage and relevance to performance
  4. Communication with key stakeholders (Parents, Clubs, management etc.) in a proactive, professional, and collaborative manner so as to prioritise the experience of our athletes.
  5. Analyse fundamental changes in performance metrics both at individual and collective levels and report to management on findings.
  6. Collate and analyse engagement trends across the high-performance program and report to management on findings.

 Desired Skills and Experience

  1. 2+ years’ experience working in sport (any level) or the fitness industry
  2. Bachelor’s Degree (Sport Science/High Performance Sport/Strength & Conditioning)
  3. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, with a strong track record of achieving outstanding results.
  4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  5. Strong understanding of performance management principles and methodologies.
  6. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  7. Ability to think strategically and drive change within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  8. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for data analysis and performance tracking (TeamBuildr, Smartabase, other).
  9. The role will be supported by the Bachar Houli Program with applicants from a Muslim background strongly encouraged to apply for this position
