THE SANFL tribunal took just 15 minutes to overturn the one-week suspension originally handed down to Adelaide veteran James Podsiadly for striking, much to the delight of teammates Patrick Dangerfield and skipper Taylor Walker.
Dangerfield, Walker and fellow Crows Sam Siggins and Riley Knight, as well as former AFL player Campbell Brown, aired their grievance with the charge on Twitter on Tuesday morning.
Podsiadly was cited for an alleged high hit on South Adelaide's Sam Overall last weekend.
Overall disposed of the ball and was met front on by a Podsiadly shepherd; the Crows argued that no high contact was ever made.
The 33-year-old risked a two-match ban by challenging the charge, but after the club argued its point the tribunal didn't take long to agree.
Podsiadly will be free to play a league-leading Woodville/West Torrens unit, which features former Crows Jared Petrenko and Luke Thompson on Sunday.
Ummmm to say there is nothing in it is an understatement....#zero https://t.co/WJzpm6xRad
