Chief Executive Officer Eugene Arocca is leading the charge for North Melbourne to reach an unprecedented 15,000 members by December 15th.

Arocca believes exciting new initiatives from the club will make purchasing a membership easier than ever.

"We've generally released our membership campaign in mid to late November, but we thought with all the good news that's going around North Melbourne at the moment we'd get the jump and have issued our membership campaign in October.

"We've revamped the whole membership offering, brought in a new General Manager of Consumer Business and made adjustments to our membership packages to make them more user friendly," Arocca told SEN's Kevin Bartlett.

The introduction of the 'Ignite' campaign has already created much excitement, and Arocca says the numbers speak for themselves.

"We're already up to about 7,000 members. We've had the busiest week ever on our website with highest ever numbers of unique visitors and page impressions.

"We've used the Ignite theme because we think we're on a path where we are growing on and off the field. We've got an exciting young team, a great young coach and we think things are about to really fire up at North Melbourne."

While he's confident the club can reach its December target, Arocca says the ultimate aim is to go above and beyond last year's tally.

"There was a drop which we're not happy with and we need to get back over 30,000 members, and in fact we've set our sights higher than 30,000.

"We think we've put in place some pretty good building blocks to make sure every opportunity is out there for every North Melbourne supporter to join as a member."

Renewal packs will be sent to members with the True North yearbooks within the coming weeks.
