About the role

We have fantastic opportunity for a talented Partnerships Executive to join the commercial team.

Reporting to the Commercial Partnerships Manager, this role will provide a high level of service and support to the Clubs corporate partners. This role will have a strong focus on developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients through regular and responsive communication and delivering upon results.

A day in the life of this role will include, but not limited to:

• Management of club AFL & AFLW partner accounts including major, mid-tier and corporate partners

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with club partners & external stakeholders to meet partner expectations through regular and responsive communication

• Implement & manage a range of administrative duties related to delivery of sponsor benefits including branding, player appearances, match day entitlements, digital entitlements and ticketing requirements

• Develop, coordinate and oversee partner activations across AFL and AFLW match days and club events such as opening training.

 

Please note this role does include attendance at events outside of normal business hours and attendance at match days across the AFL/W seasons.

 

Our ideal candidate

As a self-motivated individual, you will have a sound understanding of account management and the commercial sporting environment, with 2-3 years’ experience that is backed by a degree in marketing, business, or sports management.

 

With a results-driven approach and drive to achieve, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment with an ability to multitask and deliver upon competing demands. Digitally savvy, you have an ability to identify opportunities and leverage partnerships.

 

A natural at building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, you will have superior communication skills and ability to manage expectations. You are a friendly and dynamic individual, with a can-do attitude and a team first mentality.

 

Due to the nature of the industry, the ideal candidate must be flexible in their availability as weekend work will be required for this role.
