Richmond is finalising its preparations for its first competitive hitout of the pre season - the Indigenous All-Stars match on February 5.

A young Tigers’ squad will travel to Darwin’s Marara Oval to take on the best Indigenous talent in the country, a week before its opening NAB Cup encounter.

The game will be broadcast live on ABC1, and will include commentary by Gerard Whateley and Charlie King, with special analysis from former Indigenous AFL stars.

In the days before the match, the team will participate in the 2011 AFL Community Camp in Darwin, which includes school visits, football clinics, official functions and an open training session.

Prior to ABC TV’s broadcast of the All Stars match, ABC1 will screen the feature length documentary - Three Boys Dreaming - on Tuesday, February 1 at 8.30pm.  Three Boys Dreaming follows three Indigenous boys chasing their dream of becoming a professional AFL footballer.
