In 2011 the Crows have revamped what is happening off the ground, adding to the fan experience before the bounce, in the stands and after the final siren.

Before the bounce
This year there will be plenty for fans of all ages to do before the match. Two AFC live sites, the Fasta Pasta 19th Precinct and Wendy’s Fan Zone will be up and running at opposite ends of AAMI Stadium, and include:

  • signing sessions with the opportunity for fans to meet their favourite Crows players
  • interactive activities for kids of all ages including a souvenir photo with a player, face painting, bouncy castle and rock climbing wall
  • junior football activities, fan competitions and prizes
  • food and beverage, including the CSG’s BBQ, tea and coffee outlets and the Selection Table Cafe
  • precinct seating including tables and chairs overlooked by a super-screen showing football and fan vision
  • AFC information marquees where you can speak to staff about tickets and membership
  • Give-aways and fan promotions from Fasta Pasta and Wendy’s

In the stands
This year the Club is introducing several new initiatives to build the AFC stadium atmosphere and make opposing teams fear the trip to West Lakes. This includes:

  • assisting the Crows Supporter Group and encouraging new faces within the cheer squad
  • the TRIBE, a new fan development initiative lead by Kurt Tippett, Nathan van Berlo, Taylor Walker and Rory Sloane featuring a large group of carefully selected, fanatical Crows fans
  • weekly match day fan promotions and give always

After the final siren
Once the final siren sounds, match day is not over - head on into the Westpac Centre's Shed. Ideally after a win, this year’s weekly Shed Party is bigger and better than ever. Entry is now free to Gold Members. Weekly activity includes:

  • player appearances, interviews and signing sessions
  • food and beverage selections including the famous Crows Supporter Group BBQ
  • a replay of the day’s big match on the Shed’s super screen
  • the opportunity to meet your favourite Crows player as members of the playing group mingle with fans on the Shed floor
