Other Incidents Assessed:
Contact between the Western Bulldogs’ Bonnie Toogood and Fremantle’s Ashlee Atkins from the second quarter of Sunday’s match was reviewed. The ball was loose after Atkins was not able to take clean possession in the Fremantle forward line. The players are coming towards the ball from opposite directions. Toogood bends down to take possession and gets her hands on the ball and wins the contest. As the Western Bulldogs’ player takes the ball, contact is made to Atkins. It was the view of the MRO that Toogood was contesting the ball and had no realistic alternative way to contest the ball. No further action was taken.
