Veteran won't make the trip to Perth to face West Coast on Sunday
COLLINGWOOD has made three changes for Sunday's game against West Coast at Patersons Stadium, however veteran Luke Ball has failed to make the final team.
The Magpies have included Alan Toovey, Clinton Young and Ben Kennedy for Kyle Martin, Taylor Adams (finger) and Tom Langdon but could not find room for Ball.
Ball produced a best-on-ground performance in the VFL last week on his return from a back injury and appears likely to spend a second week in the reserves.
The 30-year-old has been named as an emergency, along with Langdon and Josh Thomas.
The Eagles welcome back veteran ruckman Dean Cox after he missed last week with concussion following the heavy hit he copped from Richmond's Ty Vickery a fortnight ago.
He replaces youngster Dom Sheed as West Coast's only change.
Adelaide had already lost the experience of James Podsiadly (ribs) and Scott Thompson (hamstring) for Sunday's clash with the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba.
Rory Laird has also missed out with Tom Lynch, Jarryd Lyons and Charlie Cameron the three inclusions for the Crows.
The Lions have also made three changes to the side that defeated Melbourne last week.
They announced the debut of 198cm forward Jonathan Freeman on Thursday while Marco Paparone and Nick Robertson have also been included at the expense of Ashley McGrath, Ryan Lester and Clay Beams.
Sam Gilbert will play his first game for the Saints since round three having successfully returned from his foot injury via the VFL last week.
Seb Ross also returns for Sunday's meeting with the Western Bulldogs. Dylan Roberton misses out while youngster Luke Dunstan had season-ending shoulder surgery.
The Bulldogs have made just one change with Easton Wood replacing the injured Jason Johannisen (calf).
Meanwhile Essendonhas received a timely boost ahead of Friday night's crunch game against Richmond at the MCG, with young forward Joe Daniher named to make his return from a collarbone injury.
Daniher had surgery last month after a training accident involving teammate Cale Hooker and has missed the past two games, but will fit in nicely with the Bombers searching for more scoring options.
Jake Melksham has been brought back into the team, alongside youngsters Elliott Kavanagh and debutant Orazio Fantasia.
Tom Bellchambers and Jackson Merrett have been omitted, while Patrick Ambrose (jaw) and Dustin Fletcher (groin) will also miss.
Richmondwill welcome back Shaun Grigg from an eight-week lay-off with a hamstring complaint, while Steve Morris has also been recalled.
Sam Lloyd and Reece Conca (suspension) go out of the Tigers side.
North Melbournehas made two changes at the selection table, with Majak Daw and Aaron Mullett both omitted from the side to take on Greater Western Sydney at StarTrack Oval in Canberra on Saturday.
Ben Brown and debutant Kayne Turner get their chance for the Roos.
Jed Lamb and Matt Buntine are back in theGiantsside, while Josh Hunt (hip) and Sam Frost go out.

Cam Pedersen, Sam Blease, Jordie McKenzie and Dean Terlich have all been dropped, while Luke Tapscott will miss the game with a jarred knee.
Geelonghas opted to bring back Hamish McIntosh to do battle with Fremantle's Aaron Sandilands when the sides face off at Simonds Stadium on Saturday night.

Max Duffy, whose pace was praised by coach Ross Lyon during the week, will make his debut for theDockers, while youngster Hayden Crozier will also add some much-needed speed.
The Dockers, though, have lost Garrick Ibbotson (back) and Tendai Mzungu (hamstring).
TheSydney Swanshave picked star forward Lance Franklin and Dan Hannebery for Saturday night's meeting with Port Adelaide.
Franklin was a late withdrawal with a knee issue last week, while Hannebery has missed the past six games with an ankle injury.

Port Adelaide'sdefence will be bolstered by the return of Jackson Trengove from an ankle injury. Trengove has been sidelined since round 15 after surgery.
