Great coaches play a key role in shaping great players - particularly during the junior stages of their development.

That’s why the Hyundai Lions Academy places such an important focus on helping develop the coaching programs throughout its designated zoning regions.

As part of this process, the Academy will be holding a series of FREE ‘Coach Education’ seminars throughout 2011 which will focus on the importance of quality coaching at junior levels.

A total of four sessions are planned with the first being held in the Gabba Room (access via Gate 10 at eth Gabba) on Wednesday 18 May starting at 6:30pm.

The seminar is open for all levels of U10 - U18 coaches to attend and will feature a range of guest speakers.

Brisbane Lions Senior Coach Michael Voss will be among the speakers at the first session together with Lions Head of Development Darren Trevena and Academy Coach Ben Dyer.
