THE Hawks have included four players – Xavier Ellis,Michael Osborne, Josh Thurgood and Travis Tuck – for the round 20 match againstPort Adelaide at Aurora Stadium in Launceston.

Captain Richard Vandenberg is the only exclusionfrom the 25-man squad, ruled out with an injured knee.

It’s an important clash for the second-placed Hawks as Port lies just 2.1 per cent in arrears in third spot on the AFLladder.

The Hawks have an imposing record at Aurora – winning 10 oftheir 15 home-and-away season appearances at the picturesque ground.

However, their record against the Power is lessbright, with the South Australians holding a commanding 11-5 record.

The home team has managed just the one win againstPort since 2003 – and that was earlier this year in round six when the Hawksovercame a tardy start to eventually win by 34 points at AAMI Stadium.

In good news for Hawks fans, Michael Osborne hasbeen selected for his first senior match since sustaining an abdominal injuryin round 13 against Collingwood at Telstra Dome.

The feisty defender suffered extensive internalbleeding when he received a knock to his back in the final quarter of the match.

Osborne spent time in hospital and rested at homebefore resuming full-scale contact work at training.

Ellis, Thurgood and Tuck have shown good form in theVFL with Box Hill Hawks, and are joined on the extended interchange by BenDixon, lining up for game No.199, mighty mouse Ben McGlynn and ruckman SimonTaylor.

Vandenberg is expected to miss just the one week after injuringhis medial ligament in the first half against Brisbane at the MCG last Saturday.

Scans earlier this week revealed a low-grade strain and theveteran is expected to resume full training next week.

Port Adelaidehas included three players into its extended squad – tall timber Dean Brogan, skipper Warren Tredrea and Steven Salopek.
