MELBOURNE great David Neitz will make his coaching debut with the Redlegs team, in a once in a lifetime opportunity for Melbourne supporters to play on the hallowed turf of the MCG.

Neitz will be assisting former coach John Northey, who is guiding the Redlegs team.
“I am helping ‘Swooper’ coach the team, but don’t rule me out taking the field if we are behind with five minutes to play,” Neitz said with a laugh.

Only 15 spots remain for this unique opportunity to play for the Redlegs and be at the heart of the ultimate red and blue experience.

The Redlegs will take on the Demons, which will be coached by fellow club greats Robert Flower and Rod Grinter.

In the lead up to the match, you will train with the team and experience the inner life of an AFL player, before setting foot on the ‘G. Then enjoy a range of match-day experiences and functions.
