COLLINGWOOD will transform its pre-match entertainment, starting at Saturday's first home match against Greater Western Sydney.

The Pies have purchased the rights for Metallica's 'Nothing Else Matters' and will be a regular fixture in the lead-up to the bounce at home games this season.

Similarly, Port Adelaide has used the INXS track 'Never Tear Us Apart' at home matches at Adelaide Oval.

While the Power uses the INXS song right up until the bounce, it is understood the Pies will use the Metallica anthem earlier in the match-day experience for fans.

Nathan Buckley's men will look to bounce back against the Giants at the MCG in the Saturday twilight clash, the first of nine MCG matches for the year.
