Tomorrow night 27 Geelong Cats players will make a return to grassroots football, visiting local clubs in the Geelong region. An AFL initiative, each junior club will be presented with ten official Geelong Cats signed footballs to use for fundraising initiatives throughout the season.

PURA Milk is proud to sponsor the 2008 PURA Junior Club Night and have incorporated the PURA Power Kick now in its fourth year. As part of the junior club night, Geelong Cats players will be presenting the U/16 junior who has been deemed the Club’s longest kick with a PURA prize pack.

All PURA Power Kick finalists will be invited to Skilled Stadium on Wednesday 4 June to compete in the semi final and a chance to be part of the Grand Final to be held on Skilled Stadium before the Round 12 match between the Cats and Port Adelaide.

PURA Power Kick ambassador Cameron Ling said “it’s a great competition for junior clubs to participate in and the $2000 prize money can really make a big difference to a struggling junior club”.
