North Melbourne v Collingwood at Telstra Dome

· North Melbourne has outscored its opposition in just one of its five final quarters at Telstra Dome this season.

· Brent Harvey has had at least 23 disposals in his past six games against the Pies. He finished with a game-high 34 disposals against the Magpies in round 5 earlier this season.

· Collingwood has out-tackled its opposition in 13 of its 15 games this season.

· Alan Didak had 29 disposals, eight marks and six inside 50s when these sides last met in round 5 this season. He finished with 1.3 for the day missing a crucial goal late in the match.

· Rhyce Shaw finished with an equal career-high 32 disposals last week against the Crows. He is having a career-best season averaging 22 disposals, 17 uncontested possessions, eight marks, two clearances, four inside 50s and three tackles per game.

Geelong v Western Bulldogs at Skilled Stadium

· Geelong has won 11 of its past 12 games at Skilled Stadium by an average of 46 points.

· Geelong’s disposal tallies of 452, 460 and 451 in the past three games all rank in the top five highest in history.

· Andrew Mackie is having his best season to date averaging a career-high 22 disposals, seven marks and three rebound 50s. Last week against the Dockers he had 23 disposals, five marks and laid four tackles.

· The Bulldogs have won four of their past five games against the Cats at Skilled Stadium by an average margin of 11 points.

· Adam Cooney was shut-down by Lynden Dunn last week finishing with 17 disposals – his lowest return of the season. He ranks fourth in the competition for disposals in 2008.

Richmond v Essendon at the MCG

· Richmond’s second quarter last week was its best quarter of football since round 21, 1996, booting 11 goals.

· In the past four rounds, Richmond has had a disposal efficiency of 79 per cent – ranked No.1 in the AFL.

· Last week against the Eagles, Kelvin Moore had a career-high 24 disposals. He also took nine marks, had four rebounds 50s and a game-high eight spoils.

· In the past four weeks, Essendon has recorded the most long kicks, inside 50s and contested possessions of any side.

Brisbane Lions v West Coast at the Gabba

· The Lions have conceded 100 points to their opposition in only one of their eight games at the Gabba this season.

· Brisbane finished with 55 inside 50s last week against the Bombers – its most in any losing game this season. It also scored 118 points – its highest losing score of the season.

· Simon Black has averaged 25 disposals, six clearances, six inside 50s and four tackles per game in his last 13 games against the Eagles.

· West Coast is currently on a six-game losing streak. Its longest losing streak ever is eight games – rounds 5-12, 2001.

· Dean Cox has averaged 28 disposals, nine marks, 22 hitouts, six clearances and four inside 50s per game in his last three games against the Lions.

St Kilda v Hawthorn at Telstra Dome  

· St Kilda has laid just 92 tackles inside its forward 50 this season – the fewest of any side.

· St Kilda has outscored its opposition in nine of its 10 opening quarters at Telstra Dome this season.

· Jason Gram went head-to-head with Chris Judd last week and finished with 25 disposals, 10 contested possessions, eight clearances, six tackles, four inside 50s, two score assists and one goal. 

· Hawthorn has not scored 100 points in any of its past eight games against the Saints, averaging 74 points against them in that time.

· Jarryd Roughead was goalless and finished with just seven disposals and one mark when these sides last met in round 16 last season.

Carlton v Sydney at Telstra Dome

· Carlton has lost its past 10 games against the Swans by an average of 37 points. It has finished with fewer disposals than the Swans in each of these games.

· Bryce Gibbs finished with a career-high 28 disposals last week against the Saints. He also finished with five clearances, seven inside 50s and one goal.

· Sydney has conceded 100 points in just three of its past 12 games at the Telstra Dome.

· In the past seven weeks, Sydney has outscored its opposition by 21 goals from stoppages – the second best result of any side in that time.

· Martin Mattner has been a huge acquisition for the Swans this season averaging a career-high of 18 disposals per game. He finished with 11 disposals last week against the Hawks however, his fewest in any game this season.

Port Adelaide v Adelaide at AAMI Stadium

· Port Adelaide has lost seven of its eight games at AAMI Stadium this season.

· Port Adelaide has averaged only 67 points in its past five Showdowns.

· Domenic Cassisi has laid 86 tackles in 2008 – 33 more than any other Power player.

· Adelaide has scored a goal from only 21 per cent of its inside 50s in the past four rounds – the worst percentage of any side in that time.

· The Crows have had the most clanger kicks in the competition in the past four rounds.

Fremantle v Melbourne at Subiaco

· Fremantle has outscored its opposition in only four opening quarters this season – the worst first quarter record of any side in 2008.

· Fremantle has conceded 32 goals in their past six final terms at Subiaco.

· Fremantle’s score of 44 points last week against Geelong was the equal-second lowest in its history and its lowest since round 13, 2005.

· The Demons’ score of 119 points against Fremantle in round seven was 24 points better than in any other game this season.

· Paul Wheatley had a career-high 34 disposals last week and is leading Melbourne in long kicks and rebound 50s this season.
