When the final teams were submitted for tonight’s Round 6 match against Adelaide at AAMI Stadium, St Kilda made one late change.

Withdrawn due to illness, Farren Ray will no longer take to the field tonight and will be replaced with young debutant Jamie Cripps.

Arriving at the Club from Western Australia as the first round selection and pick number 24 overall in the 2010 NAB AFL Draft, Cripps has made an immediate impression on the training track with his effort and athleticism. Speaking at his weekly press conference earlier this week, Ross Lyon described the midfielder as mature and professional and said; “He has given himself every chance to play and his speed and his run might be really important at AAMI.”

Cripps will join fellow debutant Will Johnson in tonight’s game wearing the famous number 35 guernsey.
