The AFL wishes to advise the Match Review Panel has reviewed the matches played in round 13 of the 2015 Toyota AFL Premiership Season. The following charges were laid:

Lance Franklin, Sydney Swans, has been charged with charged with engaging in rough conduct against Shane Edwards, Richmond, during the second quarter of the Round 13 match between the Sydney Swans and Richmond, played at the SCG on Friday June 26, 2015.
In summary, he can accept a one-match sanction with an early plea.
Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from the Richmond Football Club, it was the view of the panel the incident should be classified as careless conduct with medium impact to the head. This offence was classified as a two-match sanction. The player has no applicable bad record. An early plea can reduce the penalty to a one-match sanction.
Kurt Tippett, Sydney Swans, has been charged with charged with striking Dylan Grimes, Richmond, during the third quarter of the Round 13 match between the Sydney Swans and Richmond, played at the SCG on Friday June 26, 2015.

The offence was classified as a three-match sanction. The player has no applicable bad record. An early plea can reduce the penalty to a two-match sanction.
Andrew Raines, Gold Coast Suns, has been charged with charged with striking Patrick Cripps, Carlton, during the fourth quarter of the Round 13 match between the Gold Coast Suns and Carlton, played at Etihad Stadium on Sunday June 28, 2015.
In summary, he can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.
Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from the Carlton Football Club, it was the view of the panel the incident should be classified as intentional conduct with low impact to the body. This offence was classified as a $1500 sanction. The player has no applicable bad record. An early plea can reduce the penalty to a $1000 sanction.
Other Matters Assessed:
Contact between the Sydney Swans’ Adam Goodes and Richmond’s Taylor Hunt from the first quarter of Friday’s match was assessed. The panel examined the incident in real time and determined that no further action was required.
Contact between Richmond’s Nathan Gordon and the Sydney Swans’ Kieren Jack from the third quarter of Friday’s match was assessed. Jack wins the ball against Richmond’s Shane Edwards and is then immediately confronted by Gordon. Gordon seeks to bump Jack, who moves to spin away from the contact. Gordon makes glancing contact to Jack as the Sydney player goes to ground. It was the view of the panel a free kick could have been paid for the high contact, had it been seen by the umpire at the time, but the force used was not sufficient for a report to be made. No further action was taken.
