The West Coast Eagles will roll into Mandurah next Thursday as part of the 2010 Telstra AFL Community Camp program and the boys are well prepared for a jam-packed itinerary.
In addition to visiting over 35 schools, hospitals and aged care facilities during the two-day visit, the players will also conduct a superclinic for local children which will be a fantastic chance for the kids to learn all the tricks of the trade from their football heroes.
The public is encouraged to come along to the open training session which will be held at Rushton Park from 4pm on Thursday, February 4. The session will be followed by autograph opportunities.
The club is also hosting a special event on Thursday evening at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre, featuring panels of both players and coaches who will be willing and able to answer all your burning football questions.
Tickets to this event are still available and can be purchased by contacting Paul Flower on 0458 303 150. All proceeds from this event will go towards the Alcoa Peel Football League which is doing a great job at ensuring the future of football in this state for many years to come.
We are counting down the days and look forward to meeting as many Mandurah locals as possible. See you soon!
