Formed in 2007 Ladder has enjoyed significant success in helping young people transition from homelessness into independent living and assisting them to reach their true potential. The organisation has its origins in AFL football players recognising a role they can play in addressing youth homelessness. The organisation has grown from one Melbourne-based program to six programs across three states. Ladder now plays a powerful role in developing resilience and a sense of purpose within its clients.
As the Chief Executive Officer you will set and control the strategic vision of Ladder whilst securing new sources of funding and deepening the organisation's engagement with the AFL industry. A key focus of the role will be growing Ladder's brand and overseeing new site development. The role will involve liaising with government at all levels and maintaining existing, and cultivating new relationships with the corporate sector. Overseeing the business service functions, you will develop a culture of excellence within the organisation and act as an ambassador for Ladder and its values.
Your diverse background encompasses time in the Not-for-Profit sector including experience leading a marketing and communications team. With a highly self-motivated and energetic working style you will bring to this appointment existing relationships within the AFL community. You have a strong understanding of engaging with the Government and Corporate sectors to achieve mutual wins.
