The 21-year-old has played 38 games and kicked 35 goals for the Suns since his debut in 2011 and at 199cm and 91kg is part of a forward set-up that is becoming more imposing by the year.
He looked particularly good this year before suffering a ruptured posterior cruciate ligament midway through the season that put paid to 2013.
“We are rapt that Tom has re-committed to the club until the end of 2016,” Gold Coast list manager Scott Clayton told the club's website.
“Tom is a quality young man, who is forging a great reputation as an emerging leader internally at the Gold Coast Football Club and that is coinciding with his continued progression as a player.”
“I’m excited at the direction the club is heading and hopefully in the next two years we’ll be able to taste team success,” Lynch said.
