Bigger is better for the 2006 Starlight Purple Haze game with ruckman and Purple Haze Ambassador Aaron Sandilands helping the match day reach new heights.

“The Purple Haze Game has become a huge game for the club, the players get right behind it to help Starlight and its great to see the crowd get into the purple theme and donate so much for the kids,” said Aaron.

It is all about getting into the purple theme that will see one lucky member or supporter in the crowd at the Purple Haze Game walk away with an LG Electronics 106 centimetre Plasma valued at over $4,000 if they are crowned the best dressed! Ten lucky people chosen from the crowd will be the finalists to go onto the ground to take part in a ‘Purple Play Off’ at half time. The winner will be the one who attracts the loudest applause from the crowd as they are introduced.

If you think the LG Plasma will look great in your lounge room start planning your purple outfit and make sure you are at this year’s Starlight Purple Haze game.

“We are hoping to make this the biggest Purple Haze Game ever to get a record result for Starlight and with a huge LG Plasma on offer we want to see everyone go all out with the purple this year,” said Aaron.

Launched in 2003, the Starlight Purple Haze game has raised in excess of $80,000 to date for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

This year’s game is proudly supported by Fremantle Ports. The ‘Purple Haze’ will hit Subiaco Oval on Sunday 6 August when Fremantle take on Hawthorn in Round 18 with bouncedown at 2.40pm.
