It has been a solid pre-season schedule, what was the hardest session? Well my hardest session was the sand dunes at Kurnell, and I only did half of it. For the players, I would say the first two weeks in general was solid.

Which player has trained well? The thing that has stood out for me this year is that all players have trained particularly well and we have had large numbers on the track throughout the pre-season. This hasn’t been seen for the last seven years.

There are a lot of new faces around the Club, who has impressed you?
Shane Mumford, because I didn’t know a lot about him before he got here but his athleticism and enthusiasm has really stood out in pre-season.

What are your plans for the Christmas break?
I will celebrate a white Christmas in America with my wife and kids.

What is the best Christmas present you’ve received? You always remember your first bike.

What have you asked Santa for this year? I bought myself a big-screen television before I had the chance to ask him if I could have it, so hopefully I get something nice as well.

Which player or coach would make the best Santa?
I would have to go for one of our past assistant coaches who fulfilled the role magnificently, Assistant Coach Peter Jonas (now Adelaide Crows assistant) was better than the original.

Favourite Christmas carol? Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

What is your ultimate summer destination?
Hawaii.

If you could pick one band to see over the summer, who would it be? AC/DC.
