Collingwood coach Mick Malthouse has declared that Saturday’s grand final will be his last as a senior coach.

Malthouse told Channel 7’s GameDay program that he will retire as a senior coach of the AFL at the end of this season.

Malthouse has coached at the senior level for 663 games across 28 seasons.

When questioned about his status at remaining at the Magpies after this season he said it was still being worked out.
