Shane Mumford, Nick Smith and Jesse White have all been included in the Swans 28-man squad to take on the Gold Coast Suns this Saturday at Southport. 

Marty Mattner, Rhyce Shaw, Trent Dennis-Lane and Lewis Johnston have all been rested from the team that took on Collingwood last Friday night.

Coach John Longmire said the team was looking forward to a good hit-out against the Gold Coast.

“It’s great to get some senior players back into the side and get them some game time before round one.

 “Our start was a little bit sloppy against Collingwood and we need to improve that this weekend. We need to make sure our intensity levels are the same for four quarters, because you can’t afford to give good teams a start a like we did,” Longmire said.
