COLLINGWOOD coach Nathan Buckley has confirmed injury-prone Pies duo Jamie Elliott and Ben Reid won't play again in 2018.
Elliott, who hasn’t played at AFL level this season due to hamstring issues, re-injured his left hamstring in round 17 of the VFL.
Reid, who hadn't played at any level since round 10 due to a knee injury, hurt his calf during the third term of Collingwood's clash with Port Melbourne.
He came straight from the field and did not return.
"That's probably season over for Ben Reid"

"No, we won't get 'Billy' (Elliott) back, and we won't get Reidy back," Buckley said on Triple M on Sunday.
The news is more promising for midfielder Adam Treloar and swingman Tyson Goldsack, with Buckley reporting that both are a chance to make it back this season.
Treloar, who injured his hamstring in the round 14 win over Carlton, has resumed training with the main group, while Goldsack ruptured his ACL during the pre-season.
"Ads (Treloar) is probably in Goldy's shoes, there is still a fair bit of water to go under the bridge."
