WEST Coast star Jeremy McGovern is clear to play in the AFL Grand Final after he was fined for shoving Melbourne's Jack Viney in the throat.
McGovern had just won a free kick and was lucky not to have the ball taken off him after he violently pushed Viney to the Optus Stadium turf on Saturday.
Match Review Officer Michael Christian charged him with misconduct over the incident, with McGovern to pay a $1,500 fine with an early guilty plea.
Melbourne veteran Jordan Lewis has also been offered a fine for misconduct.
If McGovern doesn't accept the Match Review Officer's offer, he will face a $2500 fine, but in any case the big Eagle is clear to play in the Grand Final.
Lewis was charged with a third offence of misconduct against Eagles forward Liam Ryan, during the first quarter.
He can accept a $2500 sanction with an early plea, with the sanction for a third offence of misconduct a $4000 fine.
