The AFL today said it was aware of an incident involving Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson and a member of the public, after the club's game against Port Adelaide at the Adelaide Oval last night.
The AFL was notified by the Hawthorn FC this morning of a confrontation between the coach and a member of the public while the Hawthorn coaching staff were returning to their team hotel after the game last night.
The AFL is still in the process of gathering all information and is not yet in a position to determine whether any further action may be taken or not
