WEST Coast's Jeremy McGovern has been hit with a one-match ban for his shove on Essendon's Matt Guelfi that left the Bomber dazed after colliding with the fence on Thursday night.
McGovern was charged with engaging in rough conduct on the Bombers' youngster with the incident assessed as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.

Should he accept the ban, McGovern would miss West Coast's clash with Hawthorn next week.
Guelfi took no further part in the match after the incident in the opening term and was taken to hospital with fears of broken ribs.

Match Review Officer Michael Christian also handed Bomber Tom Bellchambers a $5000 fine for his forceful front-on contact on Eagle Luke Shuey.
By accepting an early plea for a second offence, Bellchambers can accept a $3000 fine.
Deemed careless conduct with high contact and low impact, Bellchambers is free to face Greater Western Sydney next week.

Bombers teammate Mason Redman was charged with kicking Eagle Oscar Allen, but will escape with a $2000 fine for the incident that was assessed as intentional conduct and low impact to the body.

In a costly night for the Bombers, tagger Dylan Clarke was fined $1000 for misconduct after pushing Eagle Dom Sheed into the path of an umpire.
Christian's findings were delayed until early Friday evening with the AFL needing to wait until the Bombers' flight landed from Perth to communicate details.
