INTERIM senior coach Rhyce Shaw wouldn't be drawn on the prospect of taking the helm at North Melbourne on a permanent basis but reiterated his enjoyment of the role on the back of another impressive win in Hobart on Sunday.
The Kangaroos whacked St Kilda with a seven-goals-to-one opening term to set the scene for a 39-point win – Shaw's fourth as senior coach.
The Roos played with a heady mix of physicality and slick ball movement, a trademark of their recent performances.

North fans would be quite happy with the prospect of making Shaw the coach on a permanent basis beyond this season on the back of this type of performance, but Shaw wouldn't take the bait after the match.
"I really enjoy it and I've said it a lot that I love the opportunity to coach this footy club and they've been fantastic to me," he told reporters in Hobart.
"I'm really enjoying the day-to-day of being a senior coach and learning every day. I learned something new today and I'm looking forward to the next learning the next day. It's been great, it's been really good."

Installed as interim coach upon Brad Scott's departure in May, Shaw's Kangaroos took down the Tigers and Suns before the bye but appear to have taken things to another level with dominant performances against Collingwood and now St Kilda in the past fortnight.
For Shaw, though, the focus is on a day-to-day basis rather than any long-term desire to coach the Kangaroos into 2020.
"I haven't really thought about it. I've really thought week to week and that's all I can do," he said.

"I've told all players and staff that. We've just got to take care of what's in front of us right now and tomorrow's another challenge and we've got to look after the business on Monday and we'll worry about Tuesday after that."
