GREATER Western Sydney could be without star duo Stephen Coniglio and Lachie Whitfield for Saturday's clash against St Kilda with both under a significant injury cloud.
A bruising encounter against Sydney on Saturday night left Coniglio with a dislocated finger that forced him to wear a protective glove on his right hand, while Whitfield suffered a heavily corked thigh.
Both played out the game under duress, and coach Leon Cameron admitted they would be monitored during the week but given every chance to play.

GWS will also monitor co-captain Phil Davis, who was a late withdrawal against the Swans after failing to overcome a sore ankle suffered the previous week against Fremantle.
Sydney superstar Lance Franklin was a late withdrawal against the Giants with a minor hamstring injury but the club is hopeful he will be right to play Brisbane on Saturday.
Port Adelaide will have to adjust to life without Robbie Gray for the next month, after the star forward broke his hand against North Melbourne on Friday night.

Roos defender Luke McDonald suffered a low-grade MCL strain in his right knee during the clash with Port Adelaide on Friday, but he returned to play out the match.
Richmond has been rocked by a high-grade PCL tear to key forward Jack Riewoldt, who is expected to miss the next 6-8 weeks.
Riewoldt suffered the tear during Wednesday night's win over Melbourne, in his first game back from a wrist injury sustained against the Pies in round two.

The Tigers will also be sweating on the fitness of defender David Astbury, who badly rolled his ankle against the Demons but returned to play out the match slightly hobbled.
The Demons have injury concerns of their own, with co-captain Jack Viney suffering a right shoulder injury after he was crunched by a massive bump from Tiger Sydney Stack.

Viney had scans on Thursday, and AFL.com.au understands Melbourne will decide whether surgery is needed on Monday.
Devon Smith's match against the Pies on Anzac Day ended prematurely due to a right knee problem, with Essendon's reigning best and fairest winner iced up in the fourth quarter.
Scans have cleared Smith of damage to his knee and he remains a chance to play against Geelong at the MCG on Sunday.

The news isn't as good for Bombers forward Mitch Brown, who fractured his wrist late in the fourth quarter against the Pies and is expected to miss three to four weeks.
St Kilda forward Jack Lonie has avoided damage to his ACL, but the young gun is set for an extended stint on the sidelines after scans confirmed he suffered ligament damage to his right knee during Saturday's clash with Adelaide.

The Saints also confirmed captain Jarryn Geary has left hospital after thigh surgery that is expected to keep him on the sidelines for a long stretch.
Carlton forward Charlie Curnow was a late withdrawal for the second week in a row, this time against Hawthorn on Sunday, with the young star experiencing recurring knee soreness that will be monitored throughout the week.
Blues veteran Kade Simpson did not play the second half of Sunday's clash after experiencing tightness in his left hamstring.
Eagles forward Liam Ryan was left bleeding after a head clash with Cat Tom Stewart in the first term, but he returned to play out the match with a bandage around his head.
