BRISBANE has spoken to the umpiring department about the treatment of Charlie Cameron, but coach Chris Fagan has challenged his star forward to come up with a way to reverse the tables on gun Richmond defender Dylan Grimes.
When the teams met in round 23, Grimes had the better of the match-up with his fellow All Australian, using a combination of strength and nous to limit Cameron to two goals from seven disposals.

Ahead of their qualifying final rematch at the Gabba, Fagan said Brisbane had spoken to the umpires for clarity but expected no favours from the officials on Saturday night.
"We think that Charlie needs to come up with a few more strategies to challenge Dylan Grimes and that's what we've been working on over the last two weeks," Fagan said.
We just asked them about a few of the decisions that were made both for and against us. Included in that was a couple of the contests that Charlie was involved with - Chris Fagan

"They'll just umpire what they see, and we know umpiring is an extremely difficult task, so we're not really on anything in regards to the umpires.
"It's all about how Charlie goes about his work and how his teammates can help him and all those sorts of things."
Fagan said the Lions regularly contacted the umpiring department through the season, not to "whinge and moan" but to help educate the players on what was acceptable and what wasn't.
The Cameron-Grimes match-up was highlighted in plenty of post-game accounts, with both men grabbing one another's jumpers throughout the contest.
"We found them really good to work with, so what we did after the game against Richmond, we did what we always do, and we just asked them about a few of the decisions that were made both for and against us," Fagan said.
"Included in that was a couple of the contests that Charlie was involved with. So yes, we have asked the question about that but some other things as well."

Fagan said Cameron had to work on where he moved, how he moved, the direction he moved and his overall workrate.
The coach's comments come less than 24 hours after Eric Hipwood said the Brisbane forward line needed to help Cameron, who kicked 54 goals in a breakout season.
While the livewire has been the Lions' focal point in recent weeks, Fagan was quick to point out the spread of goalkickers they've had.
Hipwood (32 goals), captain Dayne Zorko (22), Hugh McCluggage (22), Lincoln McCarthy (20), Dan McStay (19), Cam Rayner (18) and Mitch Robinson (17) have all been regular avenues to goal.
