Match Review Officer Michael Christian offered Greene a one-match suspension for making unreasonable or unnecessary contact to the eye region of Lions midfielder Neale in Saturday night's semi-final.
Christian assessed the incident as intentional conduct, with low impact and high contact.

This latest charge comes a week after Greene received a $7500 fine on a serious misconduct charge against Bulldog Marcus Bontempelli.
However, Fagan's comments on Melbourne radio station SEN on Monday morning could work in Greene's and Greater Western Sydney's favour.
BARRETT Nothing tough about defiant Toby's latest act
"He (Neale) felt contact. He had no idea who it was," Fagan said.
"It wasn't enough to stop him from playing on. It just caused him a little bit of disturbance for a few seconds and he dusted it off and kept going.
"It wasn't in the eyes. It was more to the nose was what he said to me yesterday."
Greene will face the Tribunal on Tuesday night at 5pm AEST.
